We skipped the museum this time, but in a 2 hour visit to the park were able to see most of the animals. It looked like about 75% of the exhibits had some animals, although not all exhibits were full. The park may still be getting back on its feet post-covid restrictions. The water park is basically a large pool with different fountains and looked fun for kids, so wear your swim trunks if you want a place to play for an hour or so before eating lunch at the snack area and heading home or to the museum. I can imagine the park being less fun during huge crowds, but we never had to wait more than a few minutes for any ride and they were pretty fun for small December 29, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The only thing i did not like and thats why 1 star less, is that some animals are being used for extra money to take pictures with visitors. Its not the animal that likes to be on the photo, its the human! But other then that, its a great place to spend a few hours. We lost count of the many many animals inside definitely more animals at Batu than Sydney Zoo. Owen’s favourites were the panthers, jaguars, white lions, and elephants. Aurelia’s favourites were racoons, monkeys and hippos. The zoos has this mini farm - where you can pet and feed the animals. Free car-train rides; where you get to see different animals, feed them and do a quick selfie too I managed to get a selfie with Mr. Camel. The food inside was okay, it wasn’t great compare to the outside Malang culinary but it was of a decent standards. There were many free rides for the kiddies. Swipe left to see all the rides. There was also this amazing Seal show. Aurelia and Owen got a kiss from the Seals. They were over the moon. Don’t forget to bring pram if you are planning to go here and have children under the age of 3. Young children required nap during the day. Trust me, you do not want to walk around carrying your kiddies sleeping. The zoo is massive. Don’t forget to also bring hats, water bottles and snacks for the kiddies. We started at 10AM and were escorted out at 530PM because the kiddies didn’t want to go home and the zoo closes at 5PM. The entrance fee was only $10 per person for 3 theme parks. The best $10 expenses last month. Worth every cents and then some. Written October 23, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Mike MahoneyElectric bikes will now be allowed to ride alongside hikers and horses on some of Jasper National Park's scenic trails. As part of a pilot project rolling out this year, pedal-assist e-bikes will be permitted on all trails and areas where bicycles are permitted."I think it's a good idea for sure to suss out the legitimacy of e-bikes on trials," said Marc Vien, sales manager at Jasper Source for Sports, a sporting goods store that sells e-bikes."There's a lot of places in the national park that are accessible by bike but maybe not to the entire general public due to limitations on fitness, etc.," said Vien. "But those e-bikes allow people to get to those places easily."Sherwood Park resident Marcie Leier, who has biked through the trails of Fryatt Valley, and other backcountry areas in Jasper, said the park is already one of the most accessible to experience Canada's Rocky Ryan Leier biking along a trail in the Fryatt Valley. Marcie Leier"We love Jasper the best because there is so much more access there for biking and for getting off the beaten path than there is in any other national park," said Leier. "We have absolutely no concerns about sharing the trails with e-bikes. I've found most of the e-bikers to be on the older and more mature side. They are just trying to stay active doing what they love and continue to get to the places that they have been going to for years."Electric scooters, e-bike share programs could come to EdmontonBike sharing may be coming to Edmonton this springAny concerns she might have about e-bikes on the trails would be rider-dependent, she added. "I've practically been run over or forced off of trails by people on regular bikes going for Strava times," she said. "I find it to be much more of a problem in the River Valley than in Jasper though."According to Parks Canada, Jasper National Park saw a three per cent increase in attendance last season, from just over million visitors in 2016-2017, to more than million visitors in 2017-2018. Despite locals and tourists hitting the trails from across Canada and around the world in increasing numbers, Vien said he doesn't believe that allowing e-bikes will have a negative impact on the natural environment. Parks Canada confirmed the pilot project, but noted that only some pedal-assist e-bikes will be allowed on the trials, with restrictions on accelerators, and power assist features when travelling over 32 km/ bike that has an accelerator is not a pedal assist e-bike; it may only be used on roads, not on trails, the new regulations state. World Music Museum is highly recommended, especially if you're interested in music and the music industry. There's some wax statues of the musicians but not all of them. Dino Park & Funtech Plaza would be very fun for kids & teens. Circus Magic is actually a mirror labyrinth, so maybe kids wouldn't really like this.
